Humane Society International, a human rights activist group, works around the world to promote the human-animal bond and confront cruelty towards animals. HIS’s president, Jeffery Flocken, said in a press release, “‘Save Ralph’ is a wakeup call that animals are still suffering from cosmetics, and now is the time for us to come together to ban it globally”.
Although there are no laws in many countries around animal rights, there is the idea that animals inherit value, which is independent to their value to humans. Animals are increasingly being noticed and understood for suffering emotional and physical pain. The world needs to pull together and put a ban to the suffering of animals around the world. Animals deserve the ability to live as they wish, without being subjected to the desires of human beings. Poor animals cannot keep themselves safe anymore. Even being part of family home can be abusive and unfair in some cases. The animals in our world seriously need our help. Recent years of work have delivered precious victories.
