Marijuana Is a psychoactive drug, that means it is a chemical substance that changes brain function and results in alterations in perception, mood, consciousness, cognition, or behavior also affects almost every organ in the body. It comes from the cannabis plant and it is used for medical or recreational purposes. “Globally, marijuana is the most used illicit drug. Marihuana contains some chemicals these are called Cannabinoids. When they are ingested they react with several receptors of the brain producing different effects, these receptors can be grouped into 2 CB1 and CB2 that are found in the central nervous system, the digestive the reproductive and the immune. There are more than 100 different cannabinoids one of the best known are the CBD, CBN, CBC and the most popular the THC that has the most psychoactive power and has been the most studied. These produces the 'high' people feel when they smoke it in a recreational mode.
But there is other way to use it and is the Medical marijuana. It uses the marijuana plant or chemicals in it to treat diseases or conditions. It's basically the same product as recreational weed, but it's taken for medical purposes Because the marijuana plant contains chemicals that may help treat a range of symptoms, that’s way many people argue that it should be legal for medical purposes.

In my opinion marijuana should be legalized but it need to be controlled. I think that With medical purposes it is good and may help people with diseases that are living bad moments in their lives. In recreational use I think it should be legal but controlled. That the government apply laws of the use of weed. There are studies that affirm that marijuana is much safer than already legalized drugs. “if you are completely fine with alcohol and cigarettes, then there shouldn’t be a reason you aren’t accepting of marijuana as well.” Said a team of drug experts in the U.K.(ProCon)
