Through the years, the wage pay between men and women has lessened by 21.3%; however, women in 2018 were still making around 20% less than their male counterparts.Through this paper you will see how gender pay gap is a result of discrimination. How one's race can also be a result of wage discrimination or even what jobs you can apply to work at. How your schooling or where you came from can result is pay gap. There is a large pay wage gap in the United States, simply due to their gender, race, and/or age.

Gender pay gap is a result of discrimination. Things like salary secrecy need to change. Government should offer paid family leave, and increase child support. They need to raise minimum wage. The following with explain the discrimination of money that face women of the workplace. Studies show that women will not receive bonus or raises as often as men do. Mostly from their managers. Men receive raises/bonus around 2 ½ times larger than women. This is discrimination because women who can meet the same requirements as men still get less bonus than men. Not only the gender of someone can affect how much they get paid but also the color of their skin. People of color earned $18 dollars to a white person $25 according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. In 2016 black men earned $7 dollars less per hour than a white man or 70 cents to a white man's dollar. Both Hispanic and black women make 63 cents to a white womans dollar. No matter what color someone is every one should be paid equally as their coworkers.

Discuss what the GAO is saying about this problem. The GAO tried to figure out just how much of the gap could be explained by these sorts of factors. The used data form The Panel study of Income Dynamics. The GAO used studies and data from The Panel study of Income Dynamics and found that several factors came into play on pay gap. Those were the job they chose, the industry and the race of the worker. If you exclude all of these, women still only make 80% of what men make. The GAO used their own resources to find that women still make less the men do per year. While the GAO found out that women do make less than men, there still hasn't been a solution to the situation.

Discuss wage discrimination in 2017 for colored people. Economic Policy Institute reports statics that colored people receive less income that non colored people. In 2017 the Economic Policy Institute reported that black men earned 22% less than white men. With comparable work experience, education, and place of residence. Black women earned 34.2% less than white men. Discuss how being elder or between ages 18-24 can affect how much women can earn per year.An Economic Committee released by the US congress in 2016 stated that ages 18 to 24 and 65 and up will receive less that males each year. In 2016 Economic Committee stated the Women ages 65 and up will receive $17,400 per year while men earn $32100 per year. That is a 44% difference. Women between ages 18 and 24 earn about 88% as much as men of the same age. Ages between 45 and 54 earn 70 cents to the dollar as men make per year. This study shows that as women get older they make lesser than man. The difference gets bigger and bigger.

What women have to say about the pay gap. Director Libby Lyons says part of the reason for the frustrating pace of change lies on many companies to introduce ways to close pay gap.

Director Lyons says despite ¾ gender equality policies, steady rise in the number of employers scrutinising pay data to detect pay gap 41.5% haven't taken action. If companies would take action pay gap can end faster. If you don't take action now the problem will stay, keep occuring, and will not go away until it is fixed.

The reason women and other races don't get paid as much as whites or men is being they cant work. Women are not supposed to work. They are meant to stay home to cook, clean, and take care of the kids. Men should bring home all of the money and goods. Women need just do what they are told and be quiet about it. Colored people get paid less because they are different and so they don't need to be around the money making white men. They should just be put into jobs that white men don't want to do.

Women should be paid the same if they went through the same things that a man went through. If a women works at the same job as a man and works the same shifts she should get paid the same. Women should recieve thet same bonus and raises as a man if she works the same as him. A man shouldnt hire a women just because she is a women. He should hire her because she is a hard worker. Who is good at what she does and can do it efficently. No matter what a women job is she should not have to worry if she is getting paid less than the other men who work with her.
