International students choose a destination that is culturally harmonious and has friendly natives. Moreover, students are attracted here due to the unique type of education that makes studies more creative and think independently with globe recognized degree. The United Kingdom has been an academic gateway for international students and a home for students from more than 200 nations. The United Kingdom is one of the most popular destinations for international students. It facilitates a variety of options for international students with more than 130 universities offering more than 1000 courses. Among them, half of the universities are ranked in the top 50 in the world. Within the United Kingdom, there are many other cities among which the selected colleges are located in London, the capital of England having the highest score in stability, healthcare, culture and environment, education, and infrastructure.
I have chosen to study in London as London is one of the best cities for international students. The QS ranking identifies London as the best student city for studying aboard for the student mix, employability, and performance of the universities. There are over 30,000 courses on offer in the capital. The city welcomes different languages and different cultures, and no one is an outsider here. London may be a very busy city, but it is well connected, night buses and night tubes make it easy for students to travel from one destination to another, and students are able to get discounts on travel around the city. Studying in London gives us access to a tremendous range of job opportunities.
During my research, I found there are many universities in the United Kingdom for the study of BSc Psychology like the University of Roehampton, East London, Brunel University London, and Royal Holloway University of West London. Among them, I have decided to study at London South Bank University because London South Bank University is one of London’s largest and oldest universities established in 1892. It is a double winner of the title University of the Year for Graduate Employment in 2018 and 2019. It is an inclusive institution with a mission to provide students from all backgrounds and faiths with an excellent education. Their campus is in the center of London, where they have strong partnerships with the industries that surround us: finance, health, the arts, sciences, culinary, law, education, engineering, construction, and architecture. The courses are accredited or designed in partnership with employers and their focus is on personalized learning.
At London South Bank University I want to study psychology. Psychology has become a very important and popular subject today all over the world. So, I want to keep learning about this subject until I become a successful psychologist. A person with a condition that affects their mental health may benefit from assessment and treatment with a psychologist. A clinical psychologist concentrates on the intellectual, emotional, biological, social behavioral aspects of human performance throughout a person’s life. My attraction towards psychology and interest in this subject is increasing day by day because a clinical psychologist can help us to understand, prevent and alleviate psychologically-caused distress, as well as promote an individual’s well-being and personal development.
A psychology degree from South Bank University will give me a wide range of job opportunities. There will be many options within public and private health care, education, mental health support, social work, therapy, and counseling. Having the desire to change the world in a positive manner, my study would help me to help others when they needed me the most. However, in order to help someone, I have to first understand them, so studying psychology will help me to understand and help those who are in trouble. I believe that London is exactly the place that can help me with this.
