Imagine holding that tiny, little life in your arms, feeling its heartbeat against your chest, staring at the love of your life just laying in your arms. You just want to protect it with all your life. Do you know some people could care less about that life? In 2014, nineteen percent of pregnancies ended in abortion. Abortion is murder, the fetus will feel pain, and it goes against the ten commandments that were created by god.
First of all, abortion is murder because human life begins when the heart makes its first beat, which is the 18th day after conception. In 2004, the U.S government passed a law called the Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2004, this law was made to protect unborn babies from being murdered and assaulted. This shows that even the U.S government believed that unborn babies are human beings. Therefore, abortion is murder and should be illegal.
Also, the fetus feels pain because studies made by Dr. Nathanson, an obstetrician-gynecologist practicing in Manhattan, showed that during an abortion the fetus’s mouth is open as if it was screaming a silent scream. This shows that human life has begun while still in the womb. Proving that, abortion does cause the fetus pain and that abortion shouldn’t be legal.
Finally, abortion goes against the ten commandments that God set. The sixth commandment is ‘thou shalt not kill’. As many people, that are for abortion, think it isn’t killing. But abortion is killing, in God’s view, he sees this child and knows this child. He knows the life the child will have and that’s why he gave you the ability to have that child. This shows that abortion is demolishing a human life. Even with rape, God gave you that child. Proving that abortion is killing a human life and should be illegal.
In conclusion, abortion should be made illegal because it is murder, it is putting the fetus through pain, and it goes against the 10 commandments that God set. Abortion is one of the most inhuman things that anybody could ever do. Abortion should be illegal and it should not be allowed in any part of the world.
