His face changed to anger as he snatched the petite girl and without any regret or remorse, dropped his baby into a Pali full of human waste. The baby's foot was the only visible part. This killing happened because of the one-child policy in China, the one-child policy is policy introduced in 1980 states that almost all Chinese families must exclusively have one child. Not all parents had to give birth to only one child, some parents of an ethnic minority and parents that their firstborn was incapacitated were allowed to have more children. Some people want to implement this for the whole world. This would produce a negative impact on the world. The one-child policy is not the appropriate way to fix overpopulation.
The one-child policy is not the appropriate way to fix overpopulation because forced abortion is inhumane. Abortion should remain the choice of the woman, for a woman to be forced to abort her baby is inhumane. According to a study performed by The National Research Institute for Family Planning of China, an institute under the Chinese government found that over 8 percent of women had induced abortions in China. 8 percent of women in China would be over 53 million women. That number is more than 38 times the number of women in the Chicago area. Abortion is a highly debated topic, either way, it is looked at, the one-child policy is going against it. If it should be the women’s choice, the policy is not permitting the women to keep their second kid, making it, not the women’s choice. If it should be, that the baby should have to be born, the policy is forcing women to get abortions which is inhumane.

This became a custom, and parents killed their babies without taking a moment to think about the beautiful and precious life of their baby. An example of this happening is, during a visit to a Chinese household, Xinran Xue saw terror. A woman was going into labor, and the woman moaned and cried, once she stopped, Xue heard a baby crying. What he heard next was shocking, “Useless thing!”He heard a man say, the man then proceeded to drop the baby girl in a slops pail, the slops Pail is the place where the family went to the bathroom, and the baby’s foot stuck out of the contents of the pail. The man had murdered his precocious child.

Acceptable, murdering girls is barbaric. For a human to be killed by its parents, the parents must be in a terrible situation.
